Poinsettia Birthday card.
by Pam simpson

To-days card  using these new Poppystamps "Poinsettia Peace" clear stamps & matching die set.. as a Birthday Card!.  Poinsettias not just Christmas..

I stamped these poinsettias in red ink, then used the matching die to cut them out, very easy to match up! six in total two for each flower,  from the same set using green ink on the leaf stamp & cut out, I wanted these a bit messy, so I cut to the center in-between the lines of ink, just a matter of feathering these .. Next using watered down Gesso I splattered with a brush to add some texture.

Added in the floral arrangement under these flowers Poppystamps "Small Posh outline" flower.. make a hole in the centers and I pushed a bunch of black stamens through.

Hampstead Oval Frame I left flat adhered to the oval.. Using Hope & Thanks clear stamp CL440 set, for the Birthday text, stamped onto Classic Tags inked the edges and shaped as shown.

Thank you for stopping by today,   happy crafting Pam x

White seam binding coloured with the matching ink..distress Stormy Sky.

  1. Hi Pam, I definitely agree, poinsettias are my favourite flowers to die-cut, and can be manipulated in different ways. I love this card, the lovely ovals and the beautiful fine detailed die-cuts, and the very pretty flowers, I love this !!
