Butterflies

Welcome to the Poppystamps Mini Blog Blitz for a new stamps! I chose the Ornamental Butterflies Set and created this beautiful geometric card.

I used a technique called second generation stamping on the butterflies to give the effect of different shades of the same color. Then stamped the scrolls in the darker color. The red butterflie was stamped using a rock n roll technique.

The sentiment beautiful day was stamped. Then Glossy accents, wink of stella, trails and bling were added.

  41. I love this card because it could be used for anyone. Even though it has the butterflies, the colors are pretty neutral as in neither masculine or feminine. Great card and great stamp and die set.
