Thanks Wreath

Hi everyone, Sue here today with a thank you card.

I used the wonderful Grendon Wreath which has a sweet acorn hanging from it.

I die cut the wreath from watercolor paper and used the direct to paper method with three shades of Distress Ink and finished with a spritz of Perfect Pearls to blend the colours and add a bit of shimmer.

I die cut a second wreath from vellum and adhered it behind the inked wreath but only at the top so both wreaths can move independently of each other.  The vellum wreath is very subtle but adds some depth and dimension to the card as it peeks out from the inked wreath.

For the acorn, I applied three shades of Alcohol Inks onto glossy card stock, die cut the acorn (which is two pieces) and adhered it to the wreath.

For the background I used the Tiny Dots Stencil from Memory Box along with some embossing paste and for the sentiment I cut out the "thanks" from the Thanks Word Balloon die.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!
