Sparkling snowflakes

Hi everyone pam here, my first post for Poppystamps blog..

simple card design, not much depth for posting, very unusuall for me!!!

I started with a card size 6"3/4 x6"3/4, postion the poppystamps Sparkling snowflake corner die, top left leaving a border at the top and side. run throught your die cutting machine, remove the die and snowflake cut out. then emboss the card in a embossing folder..

using ultra strong double sided tape (we call it red tape) 1/8 thick..on the reverse of the card place the cut snowflake back in postion, stick as many places as possible back in the cut out..

Glitter the edges, Cut two more  snowflakes  in blue card, adhere one onto the snowflake you place back in the embossed card .. I cut into other  snowflakes and glitter these and adhere on top..

Place ribbon across the card near bottom.. I added my own made stick pins.

like this picture.. all layered up and odd ones glittered.

This was then adhered onto red..blue..and white card all a touch larger..

Finished card 7"1/4 x 7"1/4..

thank you pam.

  1. Pam, this is simply lovely. This die must have been quite fiddly to inlay back into the cutout spaces, with all the intricacy of the snowflakes. You’ve done an astounding job with that part of the card. Love the embossing on the white, and the soft powder blue & red combo made a gorgeous holiday card. Loved the addition of the tiny jewels that picked up both the pretty colors. Well done!!! TFS & Hugs
