Clean and Simple

Three months until Christmas. Can you believe it? I don't know about you, but the closer Christmas gets, the more I want cards that are clean and simple. That was my goal for today. I started by embossing the background using an embossing folder. Then I added The Sparkling Snowfake Corner die. I created the sentiment with the help of my computer. I layered the Let It Snow stamp to the Classic Ribbon die and layered it onto the medium size ribbon die. The snowflake was silver layered onto red using the Christmas Bauble die. That was quick wasn't it!
Below is an up-close photo:

The inside was super quick. This sentiment was also made on my computer.

The snowflake is from the Christmas Bauble die. This is becoming a favorite of mine. I find lots of places to use these little gems.
Do you want to know about the little Christmas Tree Ornament? My friend Jenny is working in her grandchildren's class room and she also volunteers with the local 4-H. She is always looking for easy projects for the kids that will challenge them, but also make a beautiful gift for family members. She doesn't know I made this yet, but I'm sure it won't be long until I get a call from her! This is how I made the little tree….
I die cut the Crafty Tree Background 3 times. I scored each tree down the middle and folded. I then glued silver cord for hanging and glued each tree to form the 3-D tree you see. I sprayed the tree with spray glue and dipped it into chunky glitter. A cute and very easy decoration for their tree. I'm planning to make several and decorate my little 3 foot fiber optic tree. Photos to follow….well, if I get them made.
I hope you enjoyed learning about my clean and simple card.
Until next time….Hugs from me to you!

A beautiful classic card. I love your sparkly tree too. I create a lot of my sentiments in word too. So much easier than stamping. Hugs Mrs A.
