Today I’m going to show you a harmonica folding card with Mrs. Santa’s house. But let me ask Mrs. Santa to show you around her house, after all, this is where she lives:

“Oh ladies, I am so thrilled to invite you to my home today! Ira has asked me to give you a small tour of the house. Here’s the front of the house, I’ve just put up the garland on the front door, for I knew you were coming!”

        

        

“Please come into my humble abode, you are most welcome here. This is the hallway. As you can see we do have some house rules. Oh, and My Deer wishes to say hello to you, too!”

        

“And here we are in our cozy sitting room where the fireplace is lit already and the stockings are hung. Let me bring in the milk and cookies now, shall I? Hope you had a nice stay in my Christmas house!”

        

I started out by making the harmonica fold card first (the Stair Frame die forms an excellent base for this!) and inking up all edges with Distress Ink. The windows were also done the same way to keep the same colour. I then put some glue on the window ledges and roof and glitter powder was added to them as well as to all the edges of each page. The texts were all printed directly onto vellum and the sweet fawn was cut to fit the photo frame on the wall. Since I like ‘wild fires’, I placed the dies slightly apart (the pattern was taken from actual fire).

  18. Fabulous card, inventive and original. Equally amazing is that all these détails are made with MB dies or stamps. A few years back, all this would have been impossible.
