My inspiration for this card came from my maternal Grandmother. She was from the Carolina's North Carolina primarily. This is where the Cardinal is the state bird.I used several of the newest released dies and a poppycling stamps. I hope you enjoy my card today, I'd love to have you leave some love here or on my blog, it's let's Poppystamps know you like what we are creating to show you! I used the peaceful bird and made it look like a Red Bird Cardinal by cutting two and then trimming a black piece for the body and beak. I will have links to all the products used below this post.

I really like this card! The Christmas plaids and the traditional poinsettia colors really do make this card feel like my OWN grandmother could have inspired it too! She would love this card too. Great idea!
